Benevolence
This Christmas, the greatest gift we can share is hope. CPC's Benevolence Ministry walks alongside church members facing unexpected hardship helping with bills, job loss or times of struggle and reminding them that they are never alone.
The Christmas Share Offering powers this work, turning generosity into real, tangible support that lifts burdens and restores confidence. Each gift becomes more than financial help: it becomes a story of God's love, a spark of hope, and proof that Jesus' care is alive in our community. Together, we let hope be seen and hearts be renewed.
Supporting Orphans and Orphanages
She had no one to tuck her in at night, no voice cheering her on. In an orphanage, she found safety, food, education, and love. Every hug, every lesson, every prayer reminds her she is valued, and never alone. Spiritual guidance plants seeds of hope and resilience.
Supporting orphanages gives children more than shelter, it gives them a future filled with possibility, confidence, and purpose.

Missionary Support
In remote villages and hard-to-reach places, missionaries carry the light of Jesus to heart longing for hope. They face danger, isolation, and countless challenges, yet they press on to teach, heal, and love communities that may never have heard the Good News.

Homes for Abused Women and Their Children
She arrived trembling, carrying fear and grief, with her children clinging to her. In a home for abused women she found refuse, healing and hope. Her children experienced safety, comfort, and care, while she regained confidence and independence through counseling, life skills and Jesus-centered support.
These homes transform brokenness into resilience, pain into purpose, and fear into courage. Every contribution helps rewrite stories of trauma into testimonies of triumph. Supporting these homes is giving women and children the priceless gift of safety, restoration, and God's unwavering love, reminding them they are never alone.
Nurturing Children and Youth Ministries
Children are not just the Church of tomorrow they are the heartbeat of today. Through CPC Children and Youth Ministries, kids and teens experience Christ's love in action through camps, programs, mentorship, and discipleship. They grow in faith from lasting friendships, and discover purpose, learning that God values and equips them to make a difference.

WHY A SPECIAL OFFERING?
As part of God’s plan to grow the faith of the people in His church, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. This special offering is an opportunity for us to grow in our faith and to prepare us for what God wants to do through our church in 2026. This offering is not because we are behind on budget, but rather it will position us to make a greater impact in 2026.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
THE REGULAR OFFERING AND THIS SPECIAL OFFERING?
The regular Cypress Point offering is the proportional amount (the full tithe of 10%) that we set apart on a systematic basis and give throughout the year. From time to time there are opportunities to give in a sacrificial way. The annual Christmas Share Offering is one of those sacrificial occasions that stretch us to grow in our faith. The special offering should be over and above what you regularly give.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
Since the goal is $98,000 this special offering must involve everyone. Please prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift that will stretch your faith. The precise amount you give is between you and God. Many in our church can give a $1,000 - $5,000 gift. Others will be able to give $100 - $500. The issue is not equal giving, but equal sacrifice. What amount can you give that will stretch your faith?
WHEN SHOULD I GIVE?
The best time to give will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Please pray about making your best gift on this day. However, you can continue to give until January 18, 2026. Please include a note designating that your gift is for the Christmas Share Offering. For those who would like to make special arrangements to give stock or an early 2026 gift to the Christmas Share Offering simply call our office at 813-986-9100.
CAN I GIVE ON-LINE, VIA BANK CHECK OR THROUGH AUTO-DEBIT?
Of course! When you give at www.cypresspoint.church select the “Christmas Share Offering.” Likewise, you can use your bank online payment option to send a check directly to the church office, simply mark in the memo area that your gift is for the “Christmas Share Offering”. It’s simple and convenient. You can also give in the Church Center App by selecting the Christmas Share Offering or Text to Give at 1-877-766-5079 and note CSO.
ARE MY GIFTS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
All gifts to Cypress Point, whether via the regular offering or this special offering, are completely tax-deductible. Be sure your gift arrives at our office before December 31, 2025 to insure that it can be applied to your 2025 Giving Statement. Please be sure to include your name and address when you give so that a receipt can be sent to you in early 2026 for your tax preparation.
HOW DID WE ARRIVE AT A $98,000 GOAL?
It is a God-sized goal that can only be accomplished through 100% participation and sacrificial giving by our Cypress Point attenders and members.
