Each Christmas season, Cypress Point Church joins together in a spirit of generosity to share the love of Jesus. The 2026 Christmas Share Offering is an opportunity for our church family to come together giving beyond ourselves so that others may experience hope, healing, and restoration.


This year’s offering will impact lives locally and globally through key areas of ministry: orphans, missionaries, Bridging Freedom, The Just Initiative, Benevolence, Crisis Counseling and the Next Generation. Each cause represents our shared commitment to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Orphans

Your generosity helps provide food, shelter, education, and spiritual care for orphans vulnerable

children around the world. And the message of the Gospel will reach hearts in desperate need of

hope. Every dollar given extends our reach to care for the least of these and to make disciples.

The Just Initiative

The Just Initiative walks alongside victims of domestic violence and their children, offering safety, support, and a pathway toward independence. Our giving helps provide emergency assistance and holistic care for families seeking a future filled with hope.

Bridging Freedom

Bridging Freedom brings restoration to young women who have been rescued from human trafficking. Through safe housing, counseling, and life skills training, they find healing and a new beginning. Our offering helps provide the resources necessary for these survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and faith.

Supporting Our Missionaries The Faugls

Through their work, lives are being changed as they share the Gospel and help build strong, Christ-centered communities. Your giving helps provide the resources they need so that they can continue to bring the hope of Christ to those who have never heard His name. Together, we stand behind the Faugls as partners in God’s mission to reach the nations.

Benevolence & Crisis Counseling

Through our Benevolence Fund, we’re able to care for Cypress Point Church families facing financial hardship or crisis. Additionally, Crisis Counseling offers professional and pastoral care for those navigating grief, anxiety, or life challenges. These gifts ensure that no one in our church or community walks through their struggles alone.

The Next Generation

At Cypress Point Church, we believe the next generation is not just the future of the Church, they are an essential part of it today. Through dynamic children’s and youth ministries, we’re helping kids and students encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and live out His love in their schools, homes, and communities.

WHY A SPECIAL OFFERING?      

 

As part of God’s plan to grow the faith of the people in His church, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. This special offering is an opportunity for us to grow in our faith and to prepare us for what God wants to do through our church in 2026. This offering is not because we are behind on budget, but rather it will position us to make a greater impact in 2026.


WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

THE REGULAR OFFERING AND THIS SPECIAL OFFERING?


The regular Cypress Point offering is the proportional amount (the full tithe of 10%) that we set apart on a systematic basis and give throughout the year. From time to time there are opportunities to give in a sacrificial way. The annual Christmas Share Offering is one of those sacrificial occasions that stretch us to grow in our faith. The special offering should be over and above what you regularly give.



HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?


Since the goal is $98,000 this special offering must involve everyone. Please prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift that will stretch your faith. The precise amount you give is between you and God. Many in our church can give a $1,000 - $5,000 gift. Others will be able to give $100 - $500. The issue is not equal giving, but equal sacrifice. What amount can you give that will stretch your faith?


WHEN SHOULD I GIVE?


The best time to give will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Please pray about making your best gift on this day. However, you can continue to give until January 18, 2026. Please include a note designating that your gift is for the Christmas Share Offering. For those who would like to make special arrangements to give stock or an early 2026 gift to the Christmas Share Offering simply call our office at 813-986-9100.


CAN I GIVE ON-LINE, VIA BANK CHECK OR THROUGH AUTO-DEBIT?


Of course! When you give at www.cypresspoint.church select the “Christmas Share Offering.” Likewise, you can use your bank online payment option to send a check directly to the church office, simply mark in the memo area that your gift is for the “Christmas Share Offering”. It’s simple and convenient. You can also give in the Church Center App by selecting the Christmas Share Offering or Text to Give at 1-877-766-5079 and note CSO. 


ARE MY GIFTS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?


All gifts to Cypress Point, whether via the regular offering or this special offering, are completely tax-deductible. Be sure your gift arrives at our office before December 31, 2025 to insure that it can be applied to your 2025 Giving Statement. Please be sure to include your name and address when you give so that a receipt can be sent to you in early 2026 for your tax preparation.


HOW DID WE ARRIVE AT A $98,000 GOAL?


It is a God-sized goal that can only be accomplished through 100% participation and sacrificial giving by our Cypress Point attenders and members.
