• Our Mission

Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Beliefs

Jesus is the only hope for a lost and broken world.

God uses the local church to change the world.

The Bible is a collection of books and letters inspired by God and written by men as God’s authoritative message to people.

  • Vision & Values

We want to be a church that everyone loves to attend, especially those who may be new to church or haven't been in a while. Cypress Point is a place for everyone.

We want you to have experiences here that are enjoyable and helpful. That's why we've created unique environments tailored to each age and stage, to help you learn and grow in every phase of life.

We are a diverse and vibrant community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope.

  • We are FOR New Tampa,

Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, and the surrounding areas.

Spreading God's Love

SINCE 1998

Cypress Point Church began in a living room in Wesley Chapel, Florida where Pastor Dean's family and four other families gathered. As membership began to grow church services moved to the former model center at Hunter's Green in 1998, then Muvico Theater in 2001.

Thirty acres of land was purchased near the corner of Cross Creek and Morris Bridge Road (New Tampa) in 2003.

Construction began in 2006 on the first building.

The first service was held in our campus home on Sunday, September 30, 2007.

Cypress Point is grateful to serve New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, and surrounding areas.
