FOR New Tampa

For too long the church has been known for what it is against.

We think it is time for the church to be known for what we are FOR.

Cypress Point Church is FOR New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, Thonotosassa, San Antonio, Dade City, Land O Lakes, Lutz, Carrollwood, and the surrounding areas.

We are for children and schools, for businesses and civic clubs,

for this beautiful area and the people who live here.

Since the beginning, the group of Christ-followers who call themselves Cypress Point Church have demonstrated that God is FOR people by serving them with no-strings-attached generosity. You'll find people from CPC serving in local schools, food banks, non-profit organizations, and events throughout our community. You'll find them giving financially to meet needs and help non-profits go further faster. They aren't told to do it. They do it because they care. Those are the kind of people who make our church what we are.

In 2022 our FOR efforts are making an impact. Check out the stories below and click the links to learn more about the groups we've supported this year.

  • FOR the New Tampa Care Center

Cypress Point continues our support again this year of the New Tampa Care Center, providing free groceries and prayer support to those in our community experiencing food insecurity. We are honored to provide the facility, utilities, equipment, maintenance, volunteers, and the donated groceries and funds to stock the shelves.

At the half way mark in 2022, the NTCC has met the practical and spiritual needs of over 1300 neighbors!

  • FOR Blanket Tampa Bay

Over 250 blankets were donated by Cypress Pointers to a local non-profit, Blanket Tampa Bay, bringing care and honoring the dignity of those experiencing homelessness in our community.

  • FOR Ukraine Citizens Relief

Funds were donated and sent to relief partners on the ground in Ukraine to assist the people of Ukraine in wartime.

  • FOR the Hurting

100 floral bouquets were given out by Cypress Pointers on Mother's Day to bring cheer and kindness to ladies who were experiencing loss or loneliness.

  • FOR Health

Cypress Point hosted a One Blood blood drive in April on our campus where life saving reserves were replenished.

  • FOR Local Schools

35 Cypress Point teens and adults from our Youth Program, The DP, invested 2 full days serving a local elementary school in need of support. They painted, cleaned, updated landscaping, moved furniture, and demonstrated through their actions how extravagantly God loves the faculty and staff.

  • FOR Child Survivors

Over $4000 was donated by Cypress Pointers to Bridging Freedom, a local non-profit residential safe campus for children rescued from human trafficking in Tampa Bay.
