Our Benevolence Fund serves as a lifeline, offering support and assistance to those in our church community who are struggling. This fund reflects our commitment to walk alongside one another in times of need, embodying the love of Jesus through tangible help. Every contribution helps to restore hope and dignity, reminding us that we are truly a family.

Supporting Orphans and Orphanages

Imagine a child, full of potential but lacking the love and support that every young heart deserves. By reaching out to orphanages, we can transform lives. We provide not just basic necessities like education, clothing, and care, but also the love and guidance that fosters emotional and spiritual growth. WHY A SPECIAL OFFERING?      

 

As part of God’s plan to grow the faith of the people in His church, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. This special offering is an opportunity for us to grow in our faith and to prepare us for what God wants to do through our church in 2025. This offering is not because we are behind on budget, but rather it will position us to make a greater impact in 2025.


WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

THE REGULAR OFFERING AND THIS SPECIAL OFFERING?


The regular Cypress Point offering is the proportional amount (the full tithe of 10%) that we set apart on a systematic basis and give throughout the year. From time to time there are opportunities to give in a sacrificial way. The annual Christmas Share Offering is one of those sacrificial occasions that stretch us to grow in our faith. The special offering should be over and above what you regularly give.



HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?


Since the goal is $98,000 this special offering must involve everyone. Please prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift that will stretch your faith. The precise amount you give is between you and God. Many in our church can give a $1,000 - $5,000 gift. Others will be able to give $100 - $500. The issue is not equal giving, but equal sacrifice. What amount can you give that will stretch your faith?


WHEN SHOULD I GIVE?


The best time to give will be on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Please pray about making your best gift on this day. However, you can continue to give until January 15, 2025. Please include a note designating that your gift is for the Christmas Share Offering. For those who would like to make special arrangements to give stock or an early 2024 gift to the Christmas Share Offering simply call our office at 813-986-9100.


CAN I GIVE ON-LINE, VIA BANK CHECK OR THROUGH AUTO-DEBIT?


Of course! When you give at www.cypresspoint.church simply mark your gift in the memo area as being for the “Christmas Share Offering.” Likewise, you can use your bank online payment option to send a check directly to the church office. Again, simply mark in the memo area that your gift is for the “Christmas Share Offering”. It’s simple and convenient.


ARE MY GIFTS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?


All gifts to Cypress Point, whether via the regular offering or this special offering, are completely tax-deductible. Be sure your gift arrives at our office before December 31, 2024 to insure that it can be applied to your 2024 Giving Statement. Please be sure to include your name and address when you give so that a receipt can be sent to you in early 2025 for your tax preparation.

It is a God-sized goal that can only be accomplished through 100% participation and sacrificial giving by our Cypress Point attenders and members.
